Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, this song was in French (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin). He plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZfaq channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for his most recent song and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. Each performance will leave you stunned. Thank you for reacting to our Dimash from a loyal "Dear" (fandom name given to us by Dimash, because we are dear to him like his family). He has fan clubs in 132 countries.

Dimash is the Vocal Virtuoso of the World!! Making music with 3 octaves is already exclusive for top singers. A 4 octave range is rare. 5 octaves is very rare, and you can count on one hand the people who can make good music with 6 octaves. So, there is no need to exaggerate. And keep in mind that Dimash is all about delivering the meaning and the emotion of the songs, and he doesn't like to talk about his range. Also, I doubt he sings in 15 languages, but I'll wait to hear that from Dimash. Singing in 5 languages would be amazing. 10 languages is almost unheard of. Dimash is already so amazing that there's no need to exaggerate. Peace and love.

SOS is the song that introduced Dimash to the world and opened many great opportunities and collaborations for him. This version was performed during the height of the pandemic when Dimash put on a Digital Show because all live concerts had to be cancelled. The song itself comes from the famous 1978 Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania', which is well known in French-speaking countries, and is a pretty difficult song to sing. In 2017 Dimash received a wild card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant ever at 22 years old and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part in this competition. Although well-known and respected in his homeland Kazakhstan, nobody in China knew or heard about Dimash before, but with his first song, SOS, Dimash shocked the audience and captured the hearts of over 600 million of viewers overnight, and the rest is history as the saying goes.

Dimash is the king of vocals. Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Freddie Mercury and Maria Callas in one person. Its range is more than 7 octaves. He has been practicing vocals since he was 5 years old. He has a classical education. Its possibilities are endless. Thanks for the response.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Dimash is not only the best singer/performer of all time, but is also the most musically diverse. He sings in 14 different languages including English, everything from Opera to Rap. 😃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

According a lot of vocal coaches, he is the best singer of the word, not only because of his insane vocal range but because he has a total control of his breath and of all registers. He is a mega star in Asia, but also gave a concert in NY (sold out). For his latest concert in his homeland (Kazakhstan), people came from 68 countries, from all around the world, traveling thousands kms to be there. If you continue your Dimash journey, you will see that he can sing everything, every genres, pop, rock, funk, love songs, opera, folk... it is impossible to summarize his talent, he is a global artist, the ultimate performer, an absolute genius.

Darling Mylesa thank you. I grew up in Kazakhstan, now it has a Q ha ! Saw him singing in a boy band vid on state tv, him, 1 on guitar and 1 on drums. He was 16 , my sister had an immediate crush and my Dad called him "that rock n roll boy you 2 like so much" with a laugh and a twinkle, until the day he died unexpectedly. He's still rock n roll boy to us. Friends went to school and university with him, Quazakstan tho enormous, has a comparatively small population and had a small town feel then. Mom used to say, you sneeze in Almaty and hear God bless you 500 miles away on the steppes. Ha ! Everybody knew everybody's business everywhere, just that kind of place. Sooo anyway I'm still in that loop, self censor, slipped up once on something nobody told me was on hold and yowza did I hear about it ! Never again tho no one's ever said not to, I guess we all keep a close eye because we love him and the whole Aitbaev Army my brother calls them. A tacit agreement among friends, we saw how fans and the media were and wow, really something. Anyway, I'd put something offhand in a comment I knew was true and if hadn't been mentioned by 600 people first, I was a liar and the devil incarnate. Vicious ! About nothing. It's been a running joke with friends, is he EVER going to graduate a darn doctor ! I feel like I went to school twice ! we said, wanting him to have that PhD he wanted so much. We'd laugh. Hey, he finish the thesis ? No, but Kathleen's arguing one she found on the net for him, she's tired of waiting. Hee 😆 so after he finished the formal coursework and friends and family having done them in music, the Composition Doctoral thesis can take years to write, he's essentially graduated. Finally ! I could hear screaming on 3 continents literally. So I wrote something like he's about to be Dr. Qudaibergen . Honey thousands ( that used to be a K and I still write incorrectly most of the time). Honey thousands ! You're an imposter !(died laughing, imposter of what ?) and much worse. How do you think you know so much can you sleep at night ? And they talk back and forth ! I don't know what we're going to do about her, she lies all the time ! know we think she's insane can we report her or somethin'? Personally ,? My blood ran cold thinking they're his fans and they're out there Dear God in heaven how does Sveta sleep ? She's pragmatic, I'm sure she has to be, saying it goes with the territory they do the best they can. I can't watch him in airports. Seriously. If I ever see you..our beautiful boy sullied by lies. You evil witch ! And I'm a nobody. That mentality. It's a degree, not building Starlink and launching it. Almost as hard however. His is maybe 2nd hardest, quantum physics took #1. No joke we all knew, very few accepted and no one makes it, it's that difficult. My brilliant uncle almost made it but changed to quantum, easier. Family joke but he does have one in music theory. Composition is high mathematics and to even be looked at you have to 4 point every high level math course offered in curriculum the entire undergrad, and grad schooll process. No one can, but he sailed thru with honors no less. David, a friend said I knew I never liked that guy. Way too damn much talent walkin' around. We roared and all busting our buttons with pride. That's our homeboy, you show 'em Dimash, it ain't all Borat ! It made me smile ear to ear when you said such a kind thing about it. Back to work. i have heard a lot of music in my 73 years and am open to most genres but Dimash is something else, his voice spears the very soul and becomes one with the heart and mind, he is the go to for my mental welfare, i will listen to him for the rest of my life and where ever the afterlife takes me and if i get to be reborn his music is already in the world to greet me, win win situation!

Welcome to the world of Dimash...not only is he a gifted singer/performer, but very humble and appreciative of his family friends and fans...He has managed to keep his private life fairly private, but let's us in now and than. He calls his fans his Dears for we are dear to his heart. The digital concert, he made during the pandemic. Any video you watch of his is great, he doesn't stick with one genre or style, even raps in a couple.

Thank you for reacting to Dimash! Please, will you react to "Stranger", New Wave? It is in English. The famous Igor Krutoy composed it for him. Also Olimpico. You will want the one that has Dimash standing with all the stars around him, and it will say Dimash & Igor Krutoy. That is, by far, my favorite performance of that song. The lyrics are beautiful. Maybe read those first, then you can listen without having to read. It is gorgeous. Sung in Italian. Written for Dimash, and premiered at the opening of the 2nd European Games in 2019. This performance is from the Arnau concert in Astana Kazakhstan 2019. (Be sure to pause and comment, and use a creative filter so they don't get copyright blocked. )❤

Been following DIMASH for about 6 years now, and am shocked by every performance he does; you never know what to expect as he is so diverse. He not only sings in 14 different languages, but covers most all of the genres of music we know of. He has turned down money(millions) in form of contracts to do his music his way. Talent you just don't know how talented he is, he is not only a singer, but composer, actor, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, humanitarian, role model for children in textbooks in several countries. Could go for long span of time telling all about him, he is just too amazing to believe; you can react to him more and learn all the other amazing facts about this young very talented man.

Hijo de una soprano y un cantante pop famoso en Kazajistán, tiene oído absoluto, estudia música y canto desde los 5 años, se graduó en canto lírico y contemporáneo (le ofrecieron cantar como tenor en la ópera Astana, pero prefirió hacer carrera como cantante popular), tiene un máster en composición musical, está haciendo un doctorado en musicología, multi instrumentista (toca 8 instrumentos a la perfección), canta en 13 idiomas y te llega directo al alma en cualquiera de ellos, su registro llega a más de 7 octavas! Dimash does all genres of music, clasic opera, pop, jazz and rap. Sometimes he mixes it all up in one song, what he calls contemporary crossover. There's something for everyone. Dimash canta en todos los estilos y lenguas posibles. Lo que siempre es una constante son las bellas letras. Hay que escuchar varias veces la canción para admirar todo lo que él comparte en su interpretación, la letra, la música, su vestuario, los efectos en el escenario y por supuesto las voces. Dimash interpreta, cuenta una historia con sus voces, rinde un tributo a los poetas o músicos que se han ido. Es un Artista Completo! La razón por la que no lo conocían, es porque ha decidido ser Independiente, no pertenece a la industria del entretenimiento. Pero gracias a eso, podemos disfrutar de su talento y de los grandes proyectos que junto con sus colaboradores nos ofrecen. Espero verlos pronto con más de Dimash, gracias.

SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! SOS is an existentialist song, about ups and downs in life, depression and death, when you feel you don’t belong here. The lights in the back denoting all emotional stages, the wings and final moments before departing to heaven. Dimash is a world class artist, turned 28 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, he also performs in concerts with the famous Ukrainian/Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He started his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 15 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. You guys stumbled on one of the best vocalists of our generation, if not ever. Frankly, this version of the song is a big took techy for me. His version from the Slavic Bazar with subtitles would have probably been best. Dimash sings in many genres, in over a dozen languages, and has been working tirelessly since he was 5 on his craft. Welcome to the best in the world. Tip of the iceberg with Dimash. No note he can not hit, no genre he can not sing, plays multiple instruments, sings in many languages while being fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian. That being said he now speaks English quiet well. He acts, he rights, etc etc etc. Check out his new song in Spanish, El Amor En Ti from his official channel. It has subtitles. He does far more than opera. You will be surprised every single time with Dimash. Top top it off he is a very humble and appreciative person. Oh and his latest MV, The Story of One Sky which he composed, wrote the script, and acted in it. The lyrics were written by someone else but every voice you hear will be that of Dimash although it seems like there are a host of singers. Not so, just DImash. Also, it is a very intense MV about war and the need for peace and accepting others.

Cuando yo empece a verlo inicie con SOS (Montaña rusa) Synfull Pasion (variedad de registros) o stranger de sus ultimas canciones Opera 2 (Contraste) Ogni pietra (mas Operistica) Unforgettable Day festival de Gakku (la nota mas alta alcanzada por dimash hasta la actualidad) y despues segui con todas sus canciones en todas ellas sorprende y emociona por mas que esperes la sorpresa cuando llega no estas preparado para ella Ademas la misma cancion en actuaciones diferentes siempre le hace pequeños cambios para mejorarlas nunca son iguales dos representaciones de la misma cancion en lo que respecta a la interpretacion de la misma

Thank you for reacting to Dimash. Dimash is from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and he currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1(B0) - whistle D8 off the piano) At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert). But many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 in Kazakhstan was amazing. Please react to Sinful Passion next. And watch the videos till the end and you will see how kind and lovely he is. And I always recommend turning on the subtitles, if available. Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russia. He was there in 2018 as a guest. ¡Es difícil explicar qué emociones nos transmite Dimash, con su voz celestial! Después de escuchar a Dimash y dejar que su voz penetre hasta lo más profundo de tu alma, algo cambia dentro de ti. Es una vibra y energía diferente que no puedes entender, solo puedes sentir. Inevitablemente, un escalofrío empieza a recorrer los poros de tu piel y no puedes contener las lágrimas, que brotan de forma natural y, he aquí, empiezas a sentir tu cuerpo flotando, casi levitando, yendo a otra dimensión, en un estado de éxtasis. . Dimash no es solo voz. Es el cruce de todo. ¡Es único! Tiene un rango vocal, nunca antes visto. ¡Dios nos habla a través de él! Por no hablar del ser humano que es: generoso, amable, educado, caritativo, humilde, sencillo. Dimash es inexpicable es como si Dios a traves de el quisiera mandar un mensaje a la humanidad tan corompida de odio y desamor, sin embargo el es amor y belleza en su maxima expresion lleno de valores de los que el mundo desafortunadamente carece ahora mismo , mira su cancion de guerra y paz y todo el amor , humildad y honestidad que el entrega, Dimash no es solo el mejor cantante del mundo , Dimash es un mensaje al mundo. Me lleva a pensar en la voz de Dimash y el elemento terapéutico que supuestamente tiene en muchas personas. A menudo he comentado sobre la capacidad de Dimash para transmitir emociones profundas a través de su voz (incluso cuando existen barreras del idioma, Dimash parece capaz de transmitir el sentimiento vocalmente). Por los videos que he visto y los artículos que he leído, Dimash es un ser humano muy enfocado (¡obviamente talentoso!), que tiene un profundo sentido de conexión con las cosas simples de la vida: familia, fe, belleza, niños, amistades y respeto. (No digo que estas sean las únicas cosas que valora, pero parecen ser recurrentes). Dimash mixes genres & also traditional folk music I highly recommend you to go back to an older song, Sinful Passion with English subtitles. He mixes several genres it shows his abilities. Also his breath control at end of song he goes 24 seconds without a breath. But, this will show his voice more then light show. Enjoy this journey if you choose to take it on. Every song he does is completely different.
