The song is shot at Athirapilly waterfalls, Kerala and Melukote temple, Karnataka. Shot during the monsoon, most of the rain was natural.

It's not fun, when you are working and not playing in the rain. You should watch an actual song shoot. Takes and retakes of dancing even in normal weather is extremely strenuous, let alone in rain.

@@garimakilledar5810 Aishwarya is an excellent dancer and unlike many of her complex choreographies, compared to them, this is one is simple for her. So I get that takes and retakes are stressful and makes it less fun but it still doesn't take away the fun aspect of it. This is was mostly real rain and she was in a very beautiful location in monsoon. So based on all that, I said she must have had fun with this song. Work can be fun.

@@swan_909 imagine being dressed in soaked clothes for hours and having to dance despite that, sure it would be fun but it's way different, difficult and non simplistic from how you see it. It's crazy hard work and dedication put into all of it, sure she is really talented but you can't just go on saying things that make it seem like it was a piece of cake for her to do it. Everything requires hard work and this song especially, because of its setup automatically requires that, and Aish did a great job at doing it justice.

Aishwarya has been one of the most dedicated & hard-working actors in Bollywood! Goes without saying she is a wonderful dancer because of all her efforts. The legendary Saroj Khan (Master Choreographer), who has choreographed this Beautiful piece as well, had mentioned in an interview that Aishwarya never complaints and keeps working on herself even if she gets bruised or hurt during the shoot. #Respect #SarojJi #AishwaryaRai

There is huge price to pay when your entire projection has always been that of perfection. So even if the poor girl does something, as sneeze in public, it’s news, and it’s bad news. So I really wish that media and people would give Aishwarya Rai a break because I think a girl goes through a lot of pressure all the time from everybody from the Madame Tussauds, to the world press, to English movies etc. It just like that the world is expected out of Aishwarya Rai."

Saroj Khan ji won award for best choreograpphy, Shreya Ghoshal won best singer and A R Rahman won best Music Director for this. Aishwarya Rai is really one of the best dancer actress in India and 2000s Aishwarya was the most hardworking .

She maintained character so well that I never realized that her head turn was not part of the choreography. Now to think of it obviously bull's head turn couldn't be predicted and the whole sequence was quick thinking on her part while maintaining character and continuing the scene.

I just was mentioning that they are two entirely different movies. Now regarding your comment that this is a remake of the Tamil movie Guru, I don't know about that. I think it was made in both languages by Manu Ratnam Sir.

India, especially the south India, is pretty warm place. There are many songs about rain and dancing in the rain because rain feels so good .. it’s a relief from the heat and plus the environment is so beautiful when it rains in India. I don’t think she was cold - anytime !! 😆

A film named Guru in Malayalam is starring Mohanlal. This is Guru a hindi film. Both are completely different films. The Malayalam film Guru was also nominated for Oscars. Please watch Guru the malayalam film. Great story and extraordinary performance by Mohanlal

When in doubt, please use 'Google'. This movie was made in Hindi, and dubbed in Tamil and Telugu. The Malayalam movie that you were talking about is a completely different film, it was released in the year 1997 and it starred Mohan Lal.

film is about gujarathi couple so setting is gujarat/maharastrian style but major locations were south india. like athirapathy water falls,kerala. pollachi,tamilnadu.

I love this song it's the best song ever!!!!! And a great song to dance to at a wedding! I've seen a lot of people dance to this, lots of wedding dance videos on KZfaq. I love this it's a beautiful song by Shreya Ghoshal and a beautiful video by AISHWARYA RAI. I love how happy AISHWARYA and Shreya are when making this. It's my favorite AISHWARYA RAI song.

The cinematographer is Rajiv Menon who is also a great director. He has done less work as a director but his film Kandkondain Kandukondain has won several awards(you can watch the Telugu dubbed version named "Priyularu Pilichindi" in Amazon Prime ,Subtitles are there. It features Mammotty, Thala Ajith , Aishwarya Rai, Tabu and Abbas)

The cinematographer is the same person, as that of 'Bombay'.. and yes Korbin, the song was shot in Kerala.. 😍 Malayalam 'Guru' is completely different, just named the same..

Only the waterfalls are in Kerala. The temple and village are from Karnataka.
