This is a prime example of exactly what’s wrong with the music industry. This guy should be one of the eminent rappers out right now, and he gets virtually no mainstream recognition. His lyrics have actual substance, beyond them just being fantastic rhymes, they’re actually meaningful too. I just recently found out about this guy, he’s becoming one of my favorite contemporary rappers.

Not trying to diminish or take away anything. Just clarifying as the word freestyle is used and applied to all sorts of non freestyles. Like so much of what is seen on sway freestyle show. Its a mix of freestyle ie improvised and pre thought out and known. The meat of it they came ready to spit. Often times nothing is freestyle at all. D^yŁ doesnt hide this fact. Peep the very end of his rhyme. He says. “Aww man i messed it up on the last bar. I almost finish it”. He did just pull that all out of the æther.
