Its always packed in there. The owner is 3rd generation. It's been around a long time and no end in sight. They're very well known in the area for their bar pie and garlic salad

Great place to watch the games but tbh the food has been bad for a while. The pizza was a lot better back in the day. Most times these days it comes out super undercooked. Happy for Bunny and her family though for the monster review.

When he opened the box, it was like the pizza that an ad agency creates for commercials, or signs, or promos, or logos, or whatever...like the perfect looking thin crust "bar pie" pizza. On looks alone that looked 8.5 so yeah, 8.3 wow! If I lived within 30 minutes of there I'd get that every weekend.

@@nickmenza2671 When did that become the real deal? I grew up in the Wood during the 80's and never heard Mapso. I lived in and around the area until around 2010. Joe's Famous is much better than Bunny's and I think I'd even go with the Gourmet in the village over Bunny's. The charm of Bunny's is it's a bar and they sell more than just pizza.

@JohnnyLag1776 in HS we would sometimes refer to the area as MAPSO. (Circa early mid 90s). When I moved back to the area, SOMA seemed to have picked up as the abbreviation. Brought me back when the OP said Mapso. Haven't heard it in a while.

Good to know. I grew up in Maplewood and Bunny's was never that great. I haven't had it in 10 years probably. I still go see my man Joe when I"m around for my favorite childhood pizza, and Town Hall for those sloppy joes.

Every time i click on these pizza reviews, i shed a tear, because even the worst scored pizza's you get, are still better then the trash i am able to get here.. This one just looked beautifull. Just once i would love to be able to eat one of these pies from the places you've gone too. with tears there came also a lot of drool.

I grew up around the corner from bunny I know the owners. I started going there in the early 60s and my dad and his friends even longer. Always great food.❤️❤️🍕🍕

And this is what yall casuals seem to not understand this is HIS type of pizza thin, crispy, overcooked bar pies… so when he rates these pizzas he’s NOT rating just for pizza, for us viewers I don’t think he even understands the sauce is the thing to look for. I would give the most honest answers and rate them not based off of my preference. 😂
