NYC subways only completely shutdown when there’s something damn near catastrophic.... I once got kicked out of my own apartment by my ex during one of the biggest snowstorms in history on Christmas 2010. I missed the last train and walked from Flatbush to midtown in jeans low top nikes a hoodie and a thin jacket.... I wish it was documented because it would of made a great fucking story
