Wait in America do the waiters/waitresses not just automatically bring separate bills to each person at the table if there’s a large party? Like in America they just automatically bring one check and expect people to split it? That is so WEIRD!! In Canada they bring one bill for each person automatically unless specified before hand lmaooo

Totally depends on if the person wants to take the time to do it Sometimes it will automatically come split (At the start of the meal they will ask who is together) Since they will ask at the end of the meal if it's all going to be on one or split up And sometimes they don't want to take the time to split it up so they will try putting it all in one and hope that no one says anything (At times because the restaurant might be busy)

We just had a huge family Christmas dinner at a restaurant and it was no problem to split the bill.

Honestly most of the time when I go out for drinks or dinner with friends we all only pay for what we order because I have a lot of friends that live paycheck to paycheck and one of my friends and I often pay for other friends so they will come out so when I do go out with a group of friends that all just split the bill evenly its really nice not having to worry about who ordered what and who's paying for what and if everyone can pay their share.
