One of the hardest things in life is forgiveness of an abusive parent. I personally had to deal with that when i was young as well and forgiving them helps you more than you know. it was a good movie.

One of the most memorable movies for me ever.

Having lived until the age of 9 with an abuser, this movie had me unable to speak. If I watch any scene from the movie now it brings me to tears. An incredibly powerful movie about forgiveness, redemption, and faith.

Went and seen this movie I loved it..l cried through half of it...i Love Dennis Quaid & Mercy Me!!! God bless you all who helped bring Bart Millards story to life!

The actor who played Bart was great!

I saw this with a bunch of ladies from my church. It is a fantastic movie. I also have learned a dance with sign language to this song, and have danced it at two of my family members funerals. I also feel like Bart. When my aunt passed away, it was hard for me, then I wrote a poem entitled "Pondering Heaven". Kinda the same aspect as this song.

What a beautiful testimony to the mighty power of our Lord's Grace.

Powerful film! Difficult to watch at times but a movie that will inspire. No one is beyond God's redemption. This comes across loud and clear.

I watched the movie today and it's amazing I mean of course I cried not gonna lie so did everyone else there to be honest . This movie just sticks with you even if you grew up with an awesome childhood and life you know others grew up like Bart did as a child .

I've never seen the movie but I just went to his concert in Rochester Minnesota and his music was so good I bought every CD. Bands like his and Crowder should get way more recognition they are so talented. I thank God for KZfaq otherwise I would never of know who these people are. I would have never gotten to hear their music. I don't know what's wrong with people today but these people should be the stars on the big stages. I'm 41 and my mom drag me to that concert the other day and I'm sure glad she did. Thank you mercy me for coming to Rochester Minnesota that was a great concert. And for everybody else if you haven't gone to any of their concert and Crowder you should they will blow your socks off.😉

Absolutely Awesome!

I watched this movie and at the part where Dennis Quaid's character was dying, I had a lump in my throat, but no tears yet. Then they started singing Amazing Grace, and then I was a mess. For context, my best friend was killed in a motorcycle accident and at his burial, we sang Amazing Grace, so it was a mess of memories and what was happening on the screen in front of me that caused me to break hard.

This song gives me chills! I have to say that I am sorry that I do not follow Christian music, even though I am a Christian, and I would not have known about this wonderful, beautiful, amazing song and movie If I had not been watching the Mike Huckabee show this past Saturday night! Thank you Governor Huckabee for showcasing this on your show. You devoted a lot of time to it. Well, my husband and I tried to see it at 2 early showtimes on Monday, yes I said Monday, and those first two shows were sold out. So happy to see that. We need many more films like this in the theaters, as well as on TV. Dennis Quaid deserves an Oscar for his role as the father. No doubt about it! All of the actors and actresses were top-notch and the music is beautiful and inspirational. I could go on and on, but I will stop now. Spread the good word about this movie so that it'll stay in the theaters and when it goes to DVD or Netflix it will be just as successful there. Love everyone!

Bart Millard i come to respect

I absolutely love this movie. I can relate to the abuse Bart went through. The abuse I went through was not physical it was mental and emotional abuse by my Dad. God helped me through my trying times with my Dad and now I have a great relationship with him. Yes he found God also and loves him so much. Unfortunately he now has Alzheimer’s. One of the character’s “Mr. Stanton”in my book series titled The Unfinished book series. Is based on him. God is good and great to bless all of us with our memories love and one of the best music groups in the world called Mercyme
