what amount of RAM is your phone? It seems that 6 Gb -- on my devices with 4Gb xmrig is being "killed" due to huge amount of RAM it needs by default, --randomx-mode=light option helps, but hashrate is below 100 H/s and "accepted" appears not often. For monero ocean they sugest their own xmrig

I am using 1GB of RAM and only 8MB is used for mining, my phone is from 2017 and I don't have the money to buy another one either.

This doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S20 plus. Nothing happened after "pkg install git build-essential cmake -y" It wil not install any packages at all. Unable to locate package git Unable to locate package build-essential Unable to locate package cmake I have Termux downloaded from 3 different sources and still the same problem.

It works good for Samsung A33 but I tried it also for an old J5 2017 and when I'm on step 11 "make -j10" it is giving me a warnings after 4% and get an fatal error at 11%. The warnings are: clang-16: warning: argument unused during compilation: '-maes' [-Wunused-command-line-argument] Any help?

try without the -j10 portion. the install may take longer but it might work

Anybody can start mining. Everyone was a beginner when they started. The question is whether it’s worth doing. For fun and learning, sure. But don’t expect to make tons of money mining on a phone because it’s not going to happen.

Well, you need a data connection for it to be able to connect to the pool. It doesn't use a lot of bandwidth but it does need to be able to connect, whether over WiFi or 4G/5G.

The hashrate depends on the speed of the processor in your phone. The phone I used was a Samsung M52 5G with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. There isn't any way to make the hashrate higher other than buying a new phone.

I get screen out of the possibility whenever I'm imputing "cmake .. -DWITH_HWLOC=OFF" his is all white drop lines when he puts it into Termux while mine says in yellow- "CMake Warning: Ignoring extra path from command line: (..)" "CMake Error: The source directory "/data/data/com.termux/files/home" does not appear to contain CMakeLists.txt."

After executing "cmake .. -DWITH_HWLOC=OFF" What I get is, "CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE "cmake": library " libcrypto.so.3" not found .......... help😢 Is there any other way to run cmake?
