You know that you should never get dogs from pets stores as the dogs at pet stores are from puppy mills . Reputable breeders are the human and best way apart from adopting and shelter to get a dog .

She became sick because you got her from a pet store. She may be a "rescue" but the reality is that she most likely came from a inresponsible breeder. I hope she does not get more health problems in the future.

I hope you’re not feeding her hills, royal canin, purina, or pedigree.. she would thrive on a raw food diet. I had a golden baby for 19 years because she was on a raw food diet and she had no cancer or issues because of her healthy diet :D

Goldens are not pets. This is a family adoption. Not even joking. Goldens see you as family, want to be around you as much as possible and included in your life as much as possible. More so than other dogs typically. So my advice to anyone getting a Golden (advice that the couple in this video do NOT need, they get it), is to know that you are adopting a family member. Shift into that paradigm and it all goes easier with a Golden Retriever. They aren't good pets, but they are outstanding family members.

Buying a pet land puppy is literally like buying a car from a bobs auto shack. Good luck knowing if that dog is predisposed for cancer, hypothyroid, hip dysplasia, or any of the genetic diseases that run in golden lines. SMH. Supporting puppy mills. This is what you shouldn’t do for anyone out there reading this.
