Hi! You may have seen my Polish demonstration of KETRON EVENT. I recommend watching it, especially since you can also turn on English subtitles. However, I want to show you this amazing instrument again, this time in English. Ketron EVENT is a REAL ARRANGER because it has live musicians on board. How does it work and what does it sound like? Being a Fan of Yamaha and KORG, I have to admit that the Event might be the best sounding Arranger right now!

Korg was the first brand offering time slice and missed the chance to use this technology to improve auto accompaniment. Yamaha had some audio drumloop styles in Tyros 5, optional in Genos and also in PSR S 950/ 970/ 975, but few styles, short pattern, often a lofi sound, no part equalizer on the drums. This led me to the SD40 and SD90. Because Yamaha also missed the chance. The registration memory is more powerful, it also memorize some style modifications, as long you doesn't change or add note events and you have lots of storage space for registrations, user styles, own sounds...

Es sind ja für dieses Fabrikat auch nur sehr wenige Leute unterwegs, die es präsentieren, der einzige für den deutschsprachigen Raum ist sicher nicht schlecht, aber hat als Zielgruppe den klassischen Alleinunterhalter im Sinn, obwohl dieser nur einen Bruchteil der Möglichkeiten nutzen würde. Ich selbst sehe eine besondere Stärke des Fabrikats Ketron darin, dass es auch sehr gut geeignet ist für Musik jenseits der Charts und üblichen Oldies und dass es Live Musik auf eine Art und Weise unterstützt, wie kein anderes Fabrikat. Ich weiß ja nicht, ob das Event über zusätzliche Einzelausgänge verfügt, denn genau das wäre eine Sache, die ich doch sehr vermisse, aber soweit ich mitbekommen habe, kann man auf den Aux Ausgang auch Bass und Schlagzeug zusammen legen und dann gemeinsam am Mischpult bearbeiten.

Wow! A stunning arranger! Good enough to compete against the likes of the Yamaha Genos/Tyros and Korg PA series. Sounds and tracks were beautifully sampled, programmed and assembled to replicate up to the minimum detail the most realistic sounds. A very good review. Enjoyed it. 🙂👍🎹

En ''retraite'' musicale, j'ai repris un petit Psrsx900, mais si j'aurais continué à jouer et à faire danser le public, j'aurais sûrement acheter ce nouveau Ketron,les claviers Ketron sont idéals pour faire danser dans des salles de danse et thés dansants. Unbelievable sounds and styles. I have Technic KN7000 and Yamaha Clavinova 201 but I have to admit the sound of this keyboard is very close to real instrument sound. Well done Ketron.

WhOOooooooo this SOUNDS amazing !! WOOOO...The styles are so Fresh and intuitive. !! thank for the review. I really appreciate it. Was gonna buy a Yamaha or Korg arranger, but this is just to good to pass up. Definitely gonna BUY this!

I just returned my pa5x .Although it has some great features it is not suited for north american country and oldies styles. Korg doesnt have live guitars and is very time consuming to navigate with over 1500 page manual.Even kids can edit and rearrange styles to suit on ketron. also the registrations are so simple to save and recall .
