I believe the red dragon fellow is a knockoff and upscale of Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander Predaking, rather than a mishmash of Dinobots and Optimuses. (Not to be confused with the official upscaled Predaking, which is actually rather good.) The weapon is new, though, and yeah, that's definitely a Prime Optimus head.

@@g.b.f9859 I used to collect the Titan/IDW movie comics, which contained fragments of "Beast Wars: The Gathering" and Ravage first appeared in issue 9 as a black and silver Transmetal 2 Cheetor with the beast and robot modes sharing the same head...

I eagerly await the premier of Three Thews in a Trenchcoat on Netflix. Shockwave remains one of my favorite TFA figures, if only because of how markedly different his two humanoid robot modes are, just from a few simple yet clever changes. Punch/Counterpunch pioneered the idea, but TFA Shockwave really polished it up. As for TFA Wreck-Gar, yeah, it's a shellformer pretty much, but I have a soft spot for the character and for Weird Al. That the TV head of the toy bears more than a passing resemblance to Al's '80s fro-and-'stache look just makes it that much better for me.

Family ness? I seem to remember that from way the hell back when. Our tv antenna fell over in a storm so dad got us cable and suddenly we had sky channel and super channel. I learned my english that way watching the weekend morning cartoons. It's when and how I learned about transformers. Good times.

4:30 I think that's Ravage from the Beast Wars COMIC, I remember reading something like that during my middle school years, from what I remember this version of Ravage has his "animal head" both in his robot and beast modes and is also blind. It also introduced me to another character named Magnatron a predacon comprised of a purple t-rex, a red pterosaur, and a "pale-green" plesiosaurus.

Thew, you just get 2008 TF: Universe Target exclusive Special Team Leaders which contains Scattorshot (repainted Cybertron Vector Prime), Silverbolt (that repainted Cybertron Thundercracker), Razorclaw (repaint of Cybertron Leobreaker which mold was used to make 2007 TF Classics Leo Prime), Autobot Hot Zone (that repainted Cybertron Optimus) and Hun-Gurrr (that Cybertron Scourge repaint. Cybertron Legends Class Scourge was only repainted as Trypticon and Hun-Gurrr). Also Robot Heros line run from 2007 to 2009.

MOTU Extendar has the swappable parts because the sculptors wanted likeness over functionality. Only very few Classics figures have 'action features'. They're not meant to be played with, Thew! ;P
