Actually.... That depends... I usually max my lab before going to the next townhall While doing that use the remaining months to save up clan league medals.... So that u can instantly upgrade important buildings or troop, spells or heroes in ur next townhall Another tip enjoy the remaining time in ur current townhall lvl because u might not like it the next th lvl hahaha

what you can do is trophy push for a few weeks while your lab finishes up, youve worked very hard to max out heros and at the end of the town hall cycle you can finally use them. its also good practice for clan war

I remember when I was a th 9, my lab was maxed and heroes were like 28/30, yet had over 100 walls to upgrade( I started as a rusher though), this was way back in early 2017. Thanks to these magic items maxing bases have become lot easier now.

I went to townhall 11 with around 5 or 6 lab upgrades left from townhall 10 and around 10 defenses/traps left. I just finished those up first when I went to townhall 11 and used books/hammers on TH11 lab upgrades. It gave me time to get a head start on heroes and walls instead of sitting on full storages. Now my queen is max and I just barely started doing th11 building upgrades lol. But feels good to have my queen for basically the entirety of th11. I say it's ok to slightly rush if you do it strategically.

Its so funny. I max my lab before everything else evrytime since th 9. After I figured out the lab was slower than every thing else I started dumping all my gems into research potions, all my league medals go to spell and troop hammers.

On my second account, I was able to max literally everything but my valks. My main account the builders are even paced with the lab now (it was behind) thanks to books, hammers, etc.

I reckon supercell should add another laboratory for dark elixir troops and spells, that way people can upgrade dark troops and normal troops at the same time.

I've never maxed a lab out completely, and with my playstyle, I don't ever see myself maxing out a lab unless it's the absolute last researches available. Yet, I've never felt like my laboratory research was "rushed". My strategy going into the lab was to start off researching my barbs and archs, then I had 1 "core" and 1 "reserve". My "core" consisted of stuff that I use the most of at that moment (usually 2-3 troops and 1-2 spells). At TH11 (like everyone else) that consisted of Witches, Bowlers, Ice Golems, and Bat spell/Rage spell. Once those were completed, I moved on over to my "reserve" (things I would like to experiment with from time to time, but also things I don't use too much of). Troops like Balloons, Hog-Riders, Miners, and spells such as healing spells, haste spells, poison spells, etc. Once that was done - I pretty much just filled in gaps here and there - things like lava hounds, wall-breakers, drags/edrags, valks, golems, pekkas, etc. What a lot of people down-play is just how much research potions you can acquire in a month, even in a sub-par clan, if you participate in raid-weekend, you're getting roughly 8-12 research potions a month from raid medals, add another 1-2 if you're a gold pass user, add to that another 2 from clan games. Meaning your average joe gets about 11+ days of free research a month.

I have the opposite issue... I’m a gold pass member, so my lab is going to be finish about 3 weeks before defences. Decided to upgrade at time of when lab is finished as I only have point defences left

I basically boost my troops sometimes and check which troop works for me . So I upgrade only the troop I am more convinced. My barchers are still lvl 3 .

My strat is to use all medals and every magic item available for lab (prioritise lab books from clan games) and if you do that from the start it’ll end towards the same time period as the upgrades

Jo a quick question what will you do with dark elixir once you max out your heroes in rush account? If u want to max your rush account you will still need to do gold and elixir farming with full loot of dark elixir in your storages. So, will all the grinding be worth?? You can surely spend dark elixir in the lab but they take a lot of time.........

I upgraded the Air defenses, X-Bows, Chicken and Infernos the first so that I had a good th11 defense base. Now I have to focus on my heroes so that I can Steal resources easily.

Honestly, you should max your lab based on whether you are an air attacker or ground attacker. I personally love lalo attacks so I will be maxing the items needed for this. It's all preference.

A strange problem. For me, it seems that i get the lab finished far before heroes and defenses and walls. But this is, because i always prefer to upgrade something in the lab before spending on heroes or walls. I want to be able to use all types of armies, primarily. I then may even go to the next townhall level, before maxing out heroes, walls and defenses. Only things i always upgrade first, are the lab itself, all barracks and the army camps. This way, i ensure to be able to run and test all armies in full strength. If the queen is 35 instead of 50.... not ideal, but i will best you as all of my troops are fully maxed first. So, for me, all elixier buildings and all lab items very very very first! Best sequence ever ;-) For the heroes, i prefer queen first, then (if available) RC and then the warden. King can wait

My lab is closer to being maxed then my base is. I’m going to upgrade clone today then when that’s done all I’ll have is skeleton spell and I still have 3 wizard tower upgrades and every cannon archer tower and mortar, as well as 9 levels on king and 1 on queen.

If you use the gold pass there's no way you wont be done with your lab first. I've been playing along with you on this series but with gold pass. I have 2 upgrades left in lab but still got 5 king levels to do and a couple warden levels, plus a ton of defenses im still working through. My issue is my lab will be sat idle which kinda sucks but im definitely not moving up until i've finished my heroes.

If you're th8, maxing lab isn't difficult, but th9 above, some of the att strats become weaker and you don't wanna upgrade that troops. Focus on the main army

I'm th11 My heroes(king and warden) are 3lvls away before maxed out, my queen is already max. But the 70% of the defense buildings are on th10 level. I use my 2builder for heroes and 4 on def and barracks. Do you think I can upgrade my th after I max my hero?

My battle machine is going for 28 and I HV enough resources to put it down again. For the lvl 30 I HV saved a ruin of builder elixer 😎
