It's crazy to me how much these promoters and star players continue to seemingly increase their prices yearly. Yaz used to give out a free inscription as well. Every year I refuse to pay for Brett and every year his price increases. I also work on sets and try to get inscriptions as well. Great stuff.

@@ChrisCardsGeorge Brett is a very tough auto to get for free. The guy barely does private signings where he charges $200+ an item.

I accidentally found cards in Salem today. Aunt Bee's had a antique/collectibles show outdoors and a seller had 100's of Starting Lineups and a good amount of cards for 50c-1.00. I was on my way to a free coin show. I found some baseball batting cage tokens but left them because they don't take ink well. 😁 Lenny Fido.🐶 Here Fido!

Great Carl Yastrzemski success!! You are correct that he doesn't sign any of his mail. At least he returns people's items. He doesn't even have to respond if he doesn't want to. Do you always use PWE's with no tracking for your mail in to signings items? I usually do too but anything that costs over $40 I will use large envelopes with a shipping label.

@MrDodger3222 if they make it easy and charge a flat fee I usually do that. I know it's a bit of a risk with the pwe but I hate sending padded envelope sase.

@@ChrisCards You mean return shipping at the same price as a SASE? I hate when promoters charge $10 just to ship one card back to you! But thankfully almost all of them accept SASE's if you are mailing items in.
