Hitting with the VICTUS PENCIL (1-piece) | BBCOR Baseball Bat Review

Victus just added a new offering to their BBCOR lineup with the 2025 Victus Pencil VCVIBP 1-piece alloy BBCOR (also sometimes referred to as the "Victus Vibe BBCOR"). This is the first endloaded 1-piece we've ever seen from Victus, and it's also the cheapest BBCOR bat that Victus has ever released ($200). Today we're gonna see how it stacks up against the $380 Marucci CatX2, as well as the $140 Marucci F5.

I feel like the scale needs to be reworked. There seemed to be a tier-level difference between the pencil and cat-X 2. But then they have the same score. That happens a lot where I feel you’re not impressed with a bat that much and then it scores a 22.

That video took an interesting twist in the “side story”: I bought the Marucci F5 (BBCOR) for my son (he’s a “Rec-plus” player, not travel). Wanted something good but not $200, given his skill level. This video makes me look like a genius. 😂
