Kid had real talent, got in his own head sometimes but so passionate. Im from boston, obviously a huge Pedro fan and Yordano resembled pedro on the mound, just a dominant force. A mean fastball with a curve thatll buckle you. RIP to a young one

Ventura was my favorite player by far I modeled my delivery after him, watched videos on end of his mechanics so when he died I literally couldnt stop tearing up for about a week that year on my travel team I decided to wear No 30 like he did. You will be missed ACE 30

I will never forget Yordano. When the Royals went to the World Series I was having a tough time in life. But my entire family got together and for those 5 games we forgot our troubles. Yordano was a huge reason why. He made me feel like I can do anything. I'm gonna miss him so much. KC was so united when we won it was amazing the day of the parade no crimes happened that day. So young and tragic. Man I feel like I just lost a family member. And everyone around the MLB that loved Yordano knows how all KC fans feel. RIP🙏🏽

It's a shame people remember him mostly for being a hothead and not the fact that he was so accomplished for such a young pitcher. By 25 he had made nearly 100 regular season starts, 9 post season starts, won a ring, and had some huge moments in the postseason. His stuff was filthy and he really could have been a special pitcher for a long time.
