Hey Guys!
Chris here, tonight I have a very frightening story about 5 friends who go to Copper Mountain, Colorado for a ski trip. There they have a series of events happen to them while staying in a mountain home in the White River National Forest. The encounters that happened one night make them feel the need to call the police and to immediately leave once day light comes!
Welcome Back to the Cedar Grove!
Keep Hiking!

Glad to know you carry a firearm for your overnight trips. That is wise. I am former L. E. and I carry at ALL TIMES. Things can go bad on day hikes (as well as on over night trips). The areas that you are usually in are beautiful, but remote. I would never consider going anywhere unarmed. Just wanted to plant that seed. Thanks for your stories !! Stay safe !

So glad to hear you always tell someone where you are going - I was worried about that as you go hiking alone. Thank you for explaining and showing us all the things you got and do to keep yourself safe, it's good to know that you really are as safe as you can be! I'll be getting one of these whistles, just to attract attention if ever something happens! I had tried a personal alarm, but this thing proved totally pointless because the sound it made was just like a car alarm - nobody paid any attention to it as folks thought it was just a car alarm going off! The whistle, being much louder, should have a much better affect! Love the Sasquatch stories! Very scary this one! I wonder why Bigfoot is so keen on throwing rocks, which features in so many reports of encounters. It seems to be to get people to notice him - but why? And why the howling? To warn people before he eats them? Why? Great lantern by the way - I used to have real paraffin lamps but find them too dangerous to have around, but a fake flame is a good idea!

Thank you for another fun collection of porkies, you are so down to earth, that is what makes your lie telling so interesting. The stories are nothing to write home about, but for some reason when you are the one doing the yarn stretching they are more interesting and more believable. I think it's because you are comfortable to listen to and you just tell it without trying to push it or force it. You also put so much effort to set the scene, the hiking, the settings you choose, the mood is perfectly set up to make the stories that much more spooky or scary. You are entertaining, too. Thank you and Please Be Safe, Healthy, Happy and most important; Be Kind - Kindness Counts.

I enjoy your approach and I enjoy your storytelling and I always get a good chuckle about whatever it is you're talking about. The scenery is beautiful. I am from northern Minnesota myself, I heard you mention you were from Minnesota. I thought you were because I either get asked if I'm from Canada or if I'm down way down south I get asked if I'm from Chicago which is hilarious! I don't know why they always pick that but they do. But anyway thanks so much and keep hiking!😉. Btw... love the lantern! Although, I am partial to the old Coleman mental lanterns. I love the sound they make in the light they give off it reminds me of my childhood camping with my family.

Love these! I spent several hunting seasons in Colorado including multiple prep trips in advance. We hunted in Yampa area in out of bounds wilderness areas toward treeline. Always had a razor sharp schrade knife and my 357 magnum with hot jacketed hollow points and was never alone. We were stalked by mountain lions and took measures not to come up on bedded down elk or mule deer herds towards dusk (didn’t want to get stomped!) never an encounter like these nor in my childhood in the woodlands of Connecticut. Awesome stories!

You are a GREAT story teller!! More than a Sasquatch, bears or mountain lions, PEOPLE are the scariest thing out there. I was camping with my family on Mt. Charleston outside of Las Vegas once, and just after nightfall the scariest thing happened. We were not in an assigned camping area, just a ways off the road in a private place. For some reason someone in a pickup came down off the road, pulled up right in front of us, turned off their lights and just sat there, ALL NIGHT LONG!! We couldn’t see in the windows and they never got out. I don’t think we got any sleep that night. I don’t know what is the matter with some people…. If I’d have had a gun I might have just banged on the window with it and ask what they wanted, but I didn’t. As soon as the sun came up they just pulled off. Creepy. I would much rather have had it been a big harry guy that actually lived there… love ya’❤️❤️

Hey, Chris! You do such a great job telling stories! I love stories, particularly sasquatch stories. I love your friendly, easy, fun, and upbeat manner. It's funny as we your listeners settle in for a scary story, things like your cool new lantern and the stream cooled beer become our comfort zone in our living rooms. Not a one of us loses the fact you still have to hike out, so really appreciate your telling us all your security and safety devices. We do care about you and worry some, so good to know you're prepared. I lived in Colo and I have a 357 too. Lol keep it up and be safe.

Thanks Chris, for taking us all along, each trip is a lot of fun! I wouldn’t be out there by myself. I’m very glad you let someone know where your going each time AND you carry the GPS. Always good to have a firearm too… just in case. Looking forward to our next adventure. Watching from the Bigfoot Piney Woods of NE Texas.

I'm several days late in getting here, but finally made it. I had company from out of town & we went on a camping & hiking adventure of our own. However we didn't see or hear any strange creatures or big foots, but had a great time & just enjoyed each others company. Nature is awesome Chris!!! And thanks for the great story. I absolutely love your stories!! Waiting for another to post. Keep Hiking Dude & stay safe. God bless!! 🙋👀👀👣👣👣🤗🤗🌞⭐🌛🐾🐾🌿🌲🍀
