alr, so sorry i saw this today but im in a private server so lemme tell u how it works in public. Rule 1: Do not whistle at night. If you play on computer, you can whistle by pressing H. Whistling helps your friends find you, but at night it also makes employees see you and hear you, so that's why I recommend not whistling and trying to be quiet at night :) Rule 2: There is never "too much food". Food is really important. Fun fact: The rarest food in game is chocolate and the best food which you can find in any cafeteria is striped donut. You can find chocolate in floating house on a pillar (not every pillar). But anyway, you need to grab a lot of food at daytime. I know, you'll say "Wow, that was obvious lol" but I'm serious. Especially, when it's about to turn blood night. The best food is: Hotdogs, burgers, water, bloxy sodas, ice cream, bananas, meatballs and apples. Get as much food, as you can. Rule 3: Build a base as quickly as you can. If you're joining a game, there are 2 most important things you should do: Get food, and BUILD YOUR OWN BASE. Noone likes people just coming into someone's base and taking all the food or taking the walls/floor/roof away. You can use pallets from shelves, rotate them by clicking R and change the side of rotating by clicking 1, 2 or 3. Rule 4: Foggy day is like a fake day. When you see that there's a lot of fog outside, it's probably Foggy Day. It means that employees will still attack you, but not running up to you - just walking to trick you. So if you don't have anything really important to do outside - it would be better if you'll just stay inside and wait for another, real day. Rule 5: Set up waypoints at important places like base or cafeterias. You can set up waypoint in menu that opens by clicking T. You can choose icon, color of icon and even name of your waypoint. Set it in important places like your base, cafeterias or the place where you may die (if you're sure you'll die in a couple of seconds, just set up a waypoint and you'll be able to pick up your food). Rule 6: Trick or treat, version: employees. You can actually trick employees by putting some furniture on them like wardrobe so they are going to not be able to get out. You can watch some KZfaq videos about how to trick them. I think that's it, have fun playing and have a nice day, bye :) Edit: To the point 3rd, about the base... You actually can live with someone if you can't build or you can't find pallets, but if the base is not abandoned and there is someone living, remember about asking for permission first instead of ruining people's gameplay, serious ;) if you don't know what foggy days and blood nights are, they're events that as their name indicates happen during day or night okay so foggy days occur every 15 days (first one is at 16), but there is a one in a hundred chance it can happen any day. it lasts 6 minutes (360 seconds) but it can last longer or less due to server lag. during a foggy day, as the name suggests, everything around you is foggy and murky so it's difficult to see things from a distance. it's very annoying if you're looking for resources. during these, employees will chase and attack you, but to compensate, they are slower than they are during night and day. they can deal up to x5 damage (40). and by the way they jump a lot higher so cover any easy entrances you have in your base as for blood nights, they're called "blood" because the environment is tinted with red. they happen every 10 days but have a 5% (1/20) chance of happening on any day during a blood night, employees spawn in bigger groups and become more active and powerful than usual. they can climb faster, jump higher, and run at twice their regular speed. the knockback and stun duration from left-clicking an employee is reduced. they can also make multiple pathways to one player through path-finding. employees do less damage, but hit you faster than usual. in other words, you might want to stay inside your base and cover every entrance it has. it's genuinely hard to survive these thats all sorry if u read it and its long/
