My dog is a cross between a Basenji and a Border Collie. Even though she is capable of a full loud bark (as Collies), she also often barks as a Basenji. They're so cute with their little "bwoofs"

My basenji does the same but she rarely lets out a good bark, I know they aren't supposed to bark but she's part husky too so that's probably where it comes from. mostly it's just the whining and noises from her lol

The old saying monkey see, monkey do is very true. If a basenji is brought up around other barking breeds they can mimmick the bark. The yodel and have a low pitched tone but my bansenji, quoanjo can bark sometimes. He isn't vocal by any means but I was surprised when I first heard it.

I've been trying to find out what my dog is. All I know is that her mother was dachshund and the father was unknown. She doesn't really bark at all so when I found your video I'm thinking she might be Basenji because her bark sounds exactly like that.
