I have a dog that looks just like yours and can also howl. She is a rescue but they told me that she is a rat terrier. Most fun and smart dog I ever had. I ❤ your video.

I had a basenji for 14 years. Very loud yodelling happens rarely if you are not stimulating it. At least when you have 1 basenji. Basenji has pros and cons, but being too loud is not one of them.

I can see why the basenji yodel makes them so unique. Sometimes they sound like growls and sometimes they sound like tornado sirens. I’ve thought about getting a basenji but I have a pet bird and have read that the basenji’s hunting instincts might not make a good match.

Most beautiful annoying sound. I worked at a hotel and we had a frequent flyer, who brought her 7 Basenji's on her trip. I was off that weekend and no one called for me to come in.
