tbh they weren't really much of a healthy couple. Kenna wanted a high social status and Bash just wanted Mary to love him. They had diffrent wants and needs and it's really sad.

Yes they were different but they could have made it work. But bash was gone too often and that made Kenna be tempted. The writers ended this so harshly :( bash left her pregnant

Bash was over Mary. Its just that they do have a lot of differences and bash's priority was obviously not kenna. And kenna, she's ambitious. Thats even before bash came in as her saviour after she chose to be the King's whore.
