I have that tarp. I did not know what to expect, since I never tarped before. Well I'll tell you this--it's the bomb! Set it up right and you have a wonderful shelter. It's about 3 pounds they say. I tad heavy, but essential gear for cover. Love the Basha polls. I'm just now learning how to use with trekking poles, but these seem neat. I will look into them. And don't worry about the F-word. It was a slip.

You can tension the ridge without lines, Pull the bottom of your poles inwards towards each other a few inches and divot them in slightly, this also lowers your signature and lets you widen the overall structure. No strings attached haha!🤘

@@PaxtonCreekSupply It can be a fiddle until you suss the ratios out but the poles/sticks about 80° and the tarpsides about 35° seems to be the golden spot, and ofc if winds an issue then obviously guying up is required. 👍 Have fun marra.

Was so very pleased to have come across this video. It popped up in my feed this morning. I collect and use a good deal of military surplus and very much appreciate your useful demonstration here. Was ready to hit the subscribe button… then came the F-Bomb expletive at 6:44. And you lost me. Just so unnecessary and disappointing. Yes, it’s absolutely your channel and you’re the master and designer of the content. And those who don’t want to watch, needn’t. But as a KZfaqr I’d think your goal is to gain new subscribers. So thought it was worth mentioning that your choice of words can actually work against you. And a little editing can go a long way.

Expletives have become common place in our current society. And even more commonplace in the military community. If you choose to ignore a wealth of knowledge because of what has become the common tongue, then the only one choosing to remain ignorant is you. If you are searching for clout, then you might want to find another genre of KZfaq to go tone police.
