Apparently Feige had the idea to bring in "little T'Challa" along, but that plan, tho' welcomed, backfired on his ass. We wanted the recast from the jump!! As iconic as Christopher Reeve was as Superman back in the day, even he was still recast after he died from his accident. Phase 4 was an up and down, experimental phase. However, if they wanna get back to making back to back films in the billions for phases 5&6, they need to think things better. 🤷

I’mean… it’s not like they intended that. The actor literally died…. So they had no choice but to kill off T’Cahlla. They couldn’t recast because it was too soon to do so. That pain was still heavy from his death it wouldn’t feel good to see a new actor just take over the role of a character he established for the MCU. Nobody could’ve done what Chadwick brought into the MCU as T’Challa the way he did. Besides, we have a new T’Challa, his son. He will become Black Panther when he’s older and he will be the one to take over his father’s rightful place.
