We'd get our but's kicked big time for having our Musk knocking around like that.

@@maltafiretraining7363 Na . . . I love that most of the U.S. has above Ground Hydrants, so simple to locate and get to work . . . majority of ours are underground . . . and Priorities . . . For the past 32 years I've put the Security and Serviceability of My SCBA as a Very High "Priority" . . . One thing I notice is the difference between U.S. and Australian SCBA Use. Here in Australia SCBA Musk under the Australian Standards, are required to have a neck strap attached to the face mask, so the face mask can be hung via the neck strap around the neck when the face mask is not in use, this is to stop fatigue or damage to the Low Pressure Supply Hose where it attaches to the Regulator and prevent possible separation from the Regulator when in use . . . a dangerous situation which has occurred a number of times within my own Fire Service . . . A few years old, but a short KZfaq Video of My service and how our Mask are secured kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oZefqrByvczSZIE.html

@@grant209 for the US it depends on the company, MSA has that neck strap and I use it because it makes life easier. Every Scott pack that I’ve seen doesn’t have it.

@@ryanrobbins2579 I've used Siebe Gorman, MSA and Scott SCBA over the past 33 years, all have had neck straps, I like the fact it protects the musk and stops crap from falling into the musk before putting the musk on.
