Read Mastering Drawing of the Human Figure by Faragasso. He was a student of Reilly and taught the Reilly Method when Reilly died. Brian may want to read the book as well.

I wonder that the name of the tool. Is that conte ?

Very late reply lol, but that is a Wolff's Carbon 6b pencil. It is a carbon pencil, which is like a blend between charcoal and graphite, and the specific mix seems to be a Wolff's proprietary. They are very nice pencils, similar to conte. I find them smoother and silkier than conte, but they can't quite reach as dark values as the conte can.

To be honest the Reilly method doesn’t do much good (I mean the triangle and the inverted triangle). At best it divides the torso into some planes. You still have to measure distances and estimate angles using the plum line to get the right measurements. Correct me if I am wrong.

Não gostei DO vídeo. . No vídeo postado mostra vários desenhos de corpos em posições diferentes, mas quando vou abrir esse vídeo, Você SÓ ensina um desenho e mesmo assim não o termina .👎👎👎👎
