Beautiful Rumba! Love these guys!! Does anyone else see Shirley Ballas when they look in her face - especially when she’s competing?? Her expressions and makeup just hit me as Shirley-inspired and it’s awesome!

This is the type of rumba I wish to see more often on DWTS. Appropriate music and authentic routines.

Yes that would be ideal but the format doesn't really allow for that. The technique to make these simpler steps look great takes months of focused training and in the DWTS format you only have a week to prepare your star. Unfortunately as a professional it would be a poor use of time to try to teach your star technique that they wouldn't be able to do with confidence in the time they had to prepare. This is why the routines focus more on tricks and story telling. With largely a lay audience and such short time to prepare that is the smart move.

First of all that is NOT rumba,!that is a bolero!! These ballroom dancers need to go to Cuba and see real rumba dancers. Nothing to do with what they are doing!!!
