I'm curious, what if I have fashion color dyed hair? I know it's gotta get shaved anyway, but do I have to dye it back to natural looking before basic training? Or can I just come in to basic training for it to get shaved?

This is the most underrated hair cut in the world, but I love this. Couple of years ago I got this hair cut on summer & since then I never looked back, I clipper shave my head 2 - 3 times a month. It is such a neat and sophisticated haircut. Thanks to army for providing such a great service for these people. you are doing wonderful job 👍🏻

How often can u get an head shaved? I asked cuz as a civilian, I shaved my head bald 👩🏾‍🦲 by weekly. I wonder since I won’t be able to bring my own clipper will I be able to get it every two weeks.

Joey has been cutting hair for a long time, saw him back in 2015 when I went through the Infantry school at Fort Benning. Joey was the best barber out of the others.

I think the reason they do this is because if you have long hair, you have to cut or other wise it could get stuck in a wire or sum idk.

Why do soldiers have to get haircuts? Does it prevent hair from getting caught on things?

If my hair was very short like 2 inch or 1 inch would I still need a haircut or I can go to next station?

To be honest I have box braids all around not that long , but they reached like 1 inch this month but , it’s crazy because my hair grows fast asf for this kind of hair type so I’m not even mad 🤷‍♂️as long as I can get my fade afterwards I won’t have to have cause problems with anyone lol, because that being bald shit is out the door afterwards
