To my knowledge yes, braids are fine! The only hair rules that are more strictly enforced are color (nothing unnatural: blue/green/purple), family friendly (no offensive/inappropriate words or images shaved in a pattern on your head), length (for safety reasons, long hair needs to be pulled back)
