Why was she not pronouncing "Hanzi" as in the normal Mandarin pronunciation?
@XufuEducation
@XufuEducation 10 жыл бұрын
It's just her pronunciation in an English context; intonation carries throughout entire English sentences, and when speaking quickly this can carry over to non-English words. Despite its standardization, Mandarin pronunciation does tend to vary in different parts of China, pronunciation is more gutteral in the north (The word "where" is a classic example --> [North:na'er 哪儿] vs. [South: na li 哪里]), and the further south you go the softer the pronunciation gets, with more nonstandard intonation due to the influence of Cantonese, Hakka, Wu and other dialects that are more common in the south.

Why the order is impotent?
@bonbonpony
@bonbonpony 8 жыл бұрын
+Тайный Я One possible reason is that there are applications such as KanjiPad where you can stroke kanji/hanzhi with your mouse cursor, and they recognize the characters by the order and directions of strokes, not by the graphical image of the character. So if you mess up the stroke order, the program won't recognize this character. But when you hold up to the correct stroke order, you can actually stroke it very crudely (even one stroke over another!) and quickly, and the program will recognize it anyway. I guess that there are similar applications in Chinese smartphones and tablets to facilitate hand-writing these characters on their touchpads with a finger or a stylus. /) ;)

Тайный Я do u mean the order of stroke?? It is very important in calligraphy because your calligraphy will not look tidy and nice if you don't follow the order. its make almost no different if u write it in mechanical pencil or pen.
