3 ай бұрынDuring our recent workshop with one of the brilliant artists Ron Baird from the USA, has taught us design principles on World Building for animation. World-building creates a virtual environment for a film's narrative to take place.
It includes all those elements which support the whole film and its nature so it takes elements like props, characters, the world's orientation, and the time it belongs to. So a World Building artist has conceptualised everything to create a world that supports the whole idea of the film.

The concept of "Blue Sky Thinking" was in general use here in the UK, even in my parents childhood. You need to look outside your country more, there is more to this world than Americans, even though most of you are from other countries before you became a colonist!

Hi Kaustubh sir. I'm a 2D motion designer. I'm very much interested in hand drawn animation. I'm familiar with the 12 animation principles. I just don't have drawing skill at all.. I don't know where to start.. I'm kinda stuck... Looking forward for your reply. Thanks.

Hi there, well you can start with a very basic doing gesture drawing every day. Try doing atlest 50-100 drawings per day, gradually start applying to animate them and you’ll find improvement in your drawing skills. Try checking some videos in our channel library on gesture drawing.
