Just to say your dominant eye is not always the same as your dominant hand. I am right handed and have a dominant left eye, so I hold with my right hand. Great info all the same.

Great video mate, I have finally got my Catty & built a “Catch Box”, i made a small target spinner & a bigger one. Out of about 50 shots I only hit the larger target twice from about 3 or 4 metres 😳. I hold the catty in my left hand & use my Dominant right eye & was managing to actually get the shots in the middle of the catch box but but not hit the target 😡. I tried using my left eye & the shots were way off. I wear safety glasses so was struggling to see through my dominant right eye. I was using small clay balls as ammo as I only have 10;stainless steel balls & didn’t feel confident enough to use them when practicing in my garage. Watched your video again & will follow your instructions & see how I get on. But i dont hold up much hope if i cant hit a target from 3 metres ☹️

Mate stick with it, it takes time, try using a paper or card target if ur shots are roughly hitting the same area just start making adjustments, keep practicing have a break then go back to it with a new positive mind. 👍

Thanks for the advice, made some home made 8mm lead ammo today & made a target with some cardboard & managed to hit some shots on the cardboard. Practicing in my garage but still struggling with aiming with my dominant eye whilst wearing safety glasses. Had a few ricochets so glad I had the glasses on. Might take my target box out in the field & try without safety glasses to see if it is any easier

@@geodiecarnivore Have you looked at the video, look at the name on your T-shirt, It's back to front, I noticed, that when you were talking about your right hand you are holding the cattie in your left, that's the way it looks when I am watching it. The name on your T-shirt shoud be on your left brest, but it's on your right in the video

Yeah I was also confused about the left & right hand when you were explaining in your video. I was like he’s saying left but he’s holding the catty in his right 🤔
