I’m so glad that people are finally beginning to produce reviews of this amazing bag! I purchased my light blue (looks baby blue but really is more of a dusty blue) in grained leather. I used it for two months, and full disclaimer, I was BRUTAL and ruthless on my bag. I refuse to worship my belongings, as they need to keep up with MY lifestyle instead of my having to baby it. It’s this same attitude that enabled me to cover a beautiful YSL evening bag with tons of scratches in 3 wears. I was shocked how much this could hold, as it’s deceptive because the 4 inch depth is what creates the additional storage space without making it “look” bigger. The hardware is probably the best part after the sensible organizational layout. It’s extremely heavy in a great substantial way. Two month of use and not a single scratch on the leather or the pretty hardware. I didn’t see any of the “tarnish” that she reported. I love the strap despite never using it. I prefer the ladylike feel of grabbing it by the handle, which also speaks to the excellent construction. Ladylike handles are my favorite, but the hardware on top takes on all the work of holding the weight of the bag. I’ve had other bags of this style by other makers but the handle wasn’t meant to support a full bag and the screws came off. Absolutely no issues with this one. Like she mentioned, the bag was shipped extremely quickly. I ordered it on a Monday night, and it arrived at my house in Florida by Thursday afternoon from Paris.

I still can't get over the color- it's gorgeous!

I was in Paris for the past 5 months I saw a few girls wearing it so I decided to buy one and I can tell you the quality is astounding, specially for the price.I used for 4 months almost everyday and it still looks brand new. It is crazy how much you can fit in it. Hightly recommended!

I wonder where in Naples and what kind of factory make Basile bags. I'm interested in purchasing that Petit Apollon in Olive but I would like to avoid getting a bag made from a leather sweatshop factory. Naples or Italy in general has a lot of those. Otherwise the bag looks pretty and sturdy, price is reasonable too.

That closure is very strange. I don’t have any nails and it seems strange to have a clasp like that.
