I had been painting tonnes of infantry for months, so I thought I'd change my approach. Plus it seems a bit more rewarding to paint fewer but larger models. I wish they would hurry up and update the models for defilers. Stat wize, they're great, but model wize they look a bit dated compared to all the newer daemon engines.

Well, my extensive knowledge of Australia comes from watching Mad Max and The Big Lez Show. If they're anything to go by, then I can see what you mean.

It's always good when Games Workshop put the extra effort into the fluff behind their models. I like that Venomcrawlers will eat stray demons for power but when there's none around they'll just resort to eating whatever they can find (such as Chaos Space Marines). You've got to wonder what would happen if a venomcrawler infestation appears where Chaos cultists are camping out. I doubt they'd stand much of a chance! As for the fix, I find most things can be fixed up with a little Dettol and some plastic glue. Aside from the rare eBay purchases where the previous owner has done something truly wrong, but you only notice it when you finally get it through the post. Also cute and deadly seems rather fitting for a Slaaneshi demon engine, I'm glad you liked it.

Well, they are pretty decent units at the moment and are reasonably easy to paint (no sub assembly). Though I wouldn't blame you for wanting to sell them as the price has gone up a fair bit since they became basically OOP.

Not likely any time soon, I only started my gaming channel 10 days ago and it's already got 35,000 views, as opposed to warpsong games which took two years to get to 70,000 views. I've still got a few videos I recorded and edited, but I just never got around to writing the scripts. Maybe at some point I'll release them.

I'm avoiding them in any way shape and form until the new codex is released, I could kitbash some khorne berzerker stuff, but it will probably not fit in with the new rules when they come out, plus, anything I make is bound to be under scale. This is the reason why I'm working on this heavy support detachment, as they're not likely to change the weapons loadout on new(ish) vehicles. I could make more squads of Khorne berserkers, but I bet you they'll have exclusive new ranged/CC weapons, just like the death guard and thousand sons did when their codexes were overhauled a few years back. Have you seen the new possessed chaos space marines? They're too big to fit on a 32mil base! They are huge compared to the previous possessed kits. I bet those new Khorne berzerkers will all be just under the size of our present Kharn The Betrayer model, and will be released with 40mm bases as standard. I wouldn't want to go out, buy the new khorne berzerker kits, then have the guys who I've spent months converting/painting looking like they're the squires to the official branded Khorne Berserkers when they're all placed on the tabletop together. Once they're released, I'll buy a tonne of them to run against my hawk lords and flawless host, but until then, i'm going to wait.

Gutted for you mate, I've just been on ebay, and they're going for about £25 including postage. Save a search for venomcrawlers on ebay, you're bound to come across someone who has no idea what they're worth. As long as you're prepared to strip some paint and do some repairs, you'll get one in no time. They'll probably just transfer the venomcrawlers onto their own sprue when the new codex is released in a few months. Who knows, maybe they'll even give us the ever illusive third obliterator.

@@darko-man8549 They are crisp when you first get them off the sprue. Plus that's going to be the only way you get a pristine one with all of the spikes still intact. There's one on ebay (UK) right now, it ends in about two hours and is more or less a reasonable price. I'd get it myself, but I think I'm good with just having three for now.

Naah, I bought these guys when they were selling dirt cheap, not long after they were released. I got them for about £10 each, atm they're about £25 each on ebay. I hope you got a good price for yours!
