NIA job is very important in The Gambia, last four years many drugs and guns enter here but nothing happens. if the NIA still exist I think all the bad things happening right now will not happen they were doing a good job in the Gambia

You are right bro, but the thing is intelligence should be strictly secret operations collections of intelligence and dissamination of information to the Army and the Police regarding all threats to the nation. That is how it operates throughout the world. Eg.. America secret service, Mi6 in UK, Senegal secret service. If they consentrate on that the nation would well secure.

The NIA don't know investigation techniques you may likely torture when there are no witnesses to served as witnesses against suspects but when there are witnesses or material evidence you only need to depend on the witnesses and the evidence to prosecute the offenders no need for torture. Also intelligence role in any country is to collect intelligence and disseminate it.
