Hey mate! Never had an issue with that myself. I would jump up and down and throw this bass around on stage having a great time and it never came off. If you wanted you could add strap locks quite easily. Cheers!

@@containsletteratoz thanks a lot, great sound and great playing, I am really considering to buy one. Some people complain that in the standing position the neck gets way too far from the left arm (the arm of the fretting hand) , I think it also depends by the strap type, strap height, the playing position and maybe other factors. What do you think about it? (I have seen some videos of strap locks modifications)

@@screwrecords6791 Hey mate! Absolutely, the weirdest part of these basses is that they are over extended by a whole tone (two frets. So! if you put this bass on someone, tell them to close their eyes and play the 5th fret, they will accidentally play the 7th fret by mistake lol. Because of this, when playing the first fret, it does feel quite far away, but the 24th fret is directly under your nose, really accessible. Bit of a trade off, but not the reason I play my bass up so high the reason I play it up high is Victor Wooten is my idol, he plays like this, and it also allows me to use double thumb techniques

Amresh Kamat It's a great slap bass! There is a bit of an adjustment when playing a spirit bass. They are over extended by a tone, meaning if you close your eyes and try play A on the fifth fret E string, you'll play B on the 7th by accident. Also F on the first fret seems quite far away lol. But the benefit of this is the 24th fret is right bellow you, and very accessible. But I love the look and feel of this bass, and headless is great as it rarely goes out of tune.

justin cartwright sorry bothering u with too many questions. I was suppose to get custom headless made but it’s going above 1000 usd. Ppl told me its difficult to play, it has strap issues n yes lower notes are hard to reach. I m funk reggae classic rock type player so again was wondering if this 5 string will be a good bet. Ur comments .. since In India its difficult to find this bass to see n check I Am asking u

Amresh Kamat it's no worries friend! Hope I'm helping, haven't experienced any strap "issues" as such. I found the design quite innovative, and comfortable. Theres a couple strap mounts on the bottom ends of the bass so you can play left or right handed, and there's one behind where the neck meets the body.

Heya Mate! Been a few years since I owned this bad boy! Was sad to see it go... Never had issue with balance. The body to neck weight is fairly even. Played 4-6 hour long gigs with no issues. It's solid right through and about 3.5 kgs, so deceptively heavier than it looks. Main thing that took some getting use to, is fret placement. It's over extended by a tone, so if you closed your eye and went to play an A on the E string, you'd play B by accident. This puts the 24th fret right under your nose for easy access, but the Low F can feel quite far away haha... Cheers!
