Darn, I'm going thru this right now; again. My left shoulder responded very well to one cortisone shot years ago. My right shoulder has been in constant pain now for a few months. Went to sport dr 3 mos ago, got a cortisone shot in that shoulder; didn't get the relief I hoped for. Then again, playing in 5-6 different bands keeps me from taking a big break as I prolly should from playing elec bass. Gona go back to sport dr and ask for ultra sound to see if that helps. I've backed off weekly practice in two bands and doing stretching exercises. Gigs slowing down in July so that might help. But was gona paint my large 10x12 storage shed one weekend,two coats, better rethink that now. Wifey won't be happy bout that. May have to tuff thru it then. Happy wife n life n all. ;>)

I got bursitis in my left shoulder from playing the bass many years ago, still to this day have to deal with the pain & had to stop playing
