Heddon is the old school bait company that many of the newer companies took ideas from. Heddon made and still makes some of the best hard bait topwaters that's ever existed. Don't over look the torpedo, Zara spook line, crazy crawler and others they have. Smithwick is another great old school company and the devils horse is a awesome old bait. I prefer the wooden ones though.

Conner (his friends call him "FACE") is the MAN! Too funny. The parking lot take off was also epic. ...OMG. You guys are showing your age! Heddon Tiny Torpedos along with Arbogast Hula Poppers, Jitterbugs and Sputter Bugs (look that up on the internet!) were my first topwater baits. Caught my 1st 200 bass on those topwater baits back in 1989! ...Noah. The rat is NOT a joke! Before I watched the fishing portion, and not knowing the conditions or where you were fishing, I felt like each of you had a similar chance, but maybe Tara's choices might squeak out the win.... Let's see how this sorts out. ...Noah.. Great taking time out to say hi and take a picture with some subscribers! It's 3pm Sunday afternoon, about 1/2 way through the video, but, I gotta go fish. I'll watch the end later.

Headed to Academy this weekend to get a new rig going, very excited to get back into fishing. My 4 year old and 8 year old daughters are interested in getting into it as well. Those Hedon prop style baits need a popping/walking action not a steady retrieve, the props make bubbles when jerked immitating a fish feeding at the surface

The Heddon propeller bait is my favorite. It catches fish. Love the attack. I change to sharper hooks and put a red hook in the front.

I started fishing almost 2 years ago because of all you guys.. I was bank fishing for about 6 months, then got a perception outlaw 11.5 kayak.. now I have a 10' bass raider.. both are modified with all the KZfaq video goodies.. trolling motors, decks, storage.. it has been an awesome journey.. now I am looking into actual bass boats.. thank you for taking me along and teaching an old dog new tricks.. your the BEST..

Out of all the fish ive caught this year, that white whopper plopper 75 was the bait I've caught the most on. Small mouth, large mouth and pike. Even a pan fish man. Thing slays.

Those are great top water lures you got! I’m from Dallas TX and I got a couple of poppers and some other topwaters for striper fishing at lake Texoma Which is an hour away from Dallas!

The heddon torpedoes catch fish. You can walk them, run like a popper or just retrieve… maybe change the hooks out. But that’s an ol skool bait that still works

Hendon tiny torpedo bull frog color popped like a popper is great top water bait. Caught my pb off 9lbs 14oz off of it

Those 75 size ploppers are solid. They have a bit different of a sound than the 90 size that people associate as the “standard”. Caught some very nice fish on the 75 earlier on in the year. Also, not me SCREAMING at Connor to read the back of the Devil’s Horse package, it has instructions on how to retrieve it xD

I fish the smallest whopper plopper a lot. I think it’s the 55, I’ve caught giants on it when they key in on small bait fish.

I actually prefer the Berkley Choppo, to the Whopper Plopper. The Choppo makes a louder plop, and I’ve caught lots of fish with mine.
