Man kann im Hintergrund schön deine JBL Sammlung erkennen. ;) Das sind aber auch die geilsten Teile aufm Markt. Ich habe seit 3 Tagen den Charge 3, und bin sowas von begeistert. Zusammen mit der Poweramp App kommt da ein Wahnsinnssound raus. Der Speaker allein macht schon einen fetten Sound, aber mit dem Poweramp geht richtig was ab.

Slimester Fuz You can turn off the DSP by holding the BT and volume down button for 10 seconds. And when you do that, it sounds really tinny.

Otto Meijerhof Wow. I turned off the dsp on my charge 2+ and it takes away most of the bass, also makes it sound muffled

PC Skeng Big. Heavy. Extremely unbalanced sound. No deep bass, tons of bass boost at 77 Hz. No mids. Boosted upper mids and lower treble. Distortion. It’s a terrible speaker for someone who wants sound quality. It is great for some parties. It’s loud and has a lot of bass. It’s just really not for me. I prefer quality over quantity.

has tv There are 3 slightly different units per speaker. One has got a bit of one problem, another one doesn't, but has another problem. So about a third of the Flip 3s have the problem that you're experiencing, and mine is not one of them. If this really is annoying you, I suggest going to the store where you bought it and ask for a new unit.

Hey Otto, I wanted to thank you for posting a bass test on all these JBL products, I have one very specific question though, if you don't mind me asking, it's about the passive radiators on the JBL flip 3, like most JBL's have, is their a limit for when you play music that has a lot of bass? I mostly listen to rap (chief keef, young thug etc) and when I boost it, I can see my passive radiators on the sides vibrating so much, i'm worried they might break and i'm constantly eyeballing them, I don't know if they can pop out or explode in worst cases, but i'm paranoid xD I really love the JBL flip 3, I got it yesterday and i'm just hoping if you can give me an answer. My music is not really THAT extreme of bass just it has enough bass to make it vibrate at around 90% vol. Thx

Ace Stinger No, they can't pop. The DSP is preventing it from popping. So you should turn that off if you want to see them move even more, but with a chance of popping, which is not good. (Hold the BT button and the volume down button together for about 10 seconds to turn off the DSP, which is not recommended). So no, they can't pop. I also havn't seen anyone on the internet with popped passive radiators on the Jbl products. And even if they do pop, you should simply return it to the store.

PC Skeng To keep things (very) simple: Charge 3: 1-10 people. Xtreme: 4-20 people. Of course that was just a very rough idea, but still. I’d actually suggest checking one out in a store.

xPawelo ツ Ehh no.. The Charge 2 only has a huge bass peak at 70 Hz, but the rest is lacking. It gives the impression of having a lot of bass, but the Charge 3 has got a lot more, and deeper.
