Here's a great shootout of a couple of really unique basses. First off we have a rare Hartke XK4 4 string bass with a P+J pickup arrangement, active bass and treble and most importantly a neck with a giant slug of aluminum in it! The competition today is the Washburn RB2002 Hammerhead with it's active treble and bass and a unique pickup arrangement. It has a single coil toward the neck and a giant MusicMan style humbucker in near the bridge. Which bass will win the battle of active basses? Will one have more sustain, more oomph, more glassy tone or sweeter mids? You decide.
