Bassano del Grappa (or Bassan, Basan in Venetian) is a medieval town in the Vicenza Province of the Region of Veneto in Northern Italy. Bassano del Grappa has a population of 45,000. The whole population of the area is around 70,000 people. Bassano is located close to villages and towns of Pove del Grappa, Romano d'Ezzelino, Cartigliano, Solagna, Nove, Campolongo sul Brenta, Cassola, Conco, Rosà and Marostica.
