It's not defense by Israel because Israel has no right to exist on other people's land. This follows from the November 2nd 1917 Balfour Declartation. When you read the one page carefully. It states the conditions by the British Crown under which the refugee jews were allowed to live in Palestine. One of the conditions is “‘that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-jewish communities in Palestine”. Consistently violated.

There have been reports that the media inside Israel doesn‘t weigh in as much on the suffering in Gaza as much as we see from Europe. I fear in ten years time Israelis will know this and in hindsight have to link this new trauma back to the older trauma of WW2 by their own motivation. Thereby not helping their ongoing recovery from the WW2 trauma. I cannot call it stupid, for i can choose my media and many others can‘t, but I am speachless how wrong all of it can go, and how misled motivation can be.

It is disheartening when everything you are told turns out to be false, and people seem unaffected and move on without questioning and continue to offer support. It is truly bewildering. Ah man it's funny as are 90% of viewer base of Joe. People in the west who love to judge every other country. As a Jew married to a Palestinian who has lived in Israel for 3 years: 1. Both sides are awful. Both hate each other. 80% of Palestine and 60% of the Arab world would celebrate the death of every Israeli. They did, when 7:9 happened, in the majority, celebrate. The same applies to Israel. This war is politics, Hamas's Weapon is winning the hearts and discrediting Israel. But do not be fools, there is deep hatred on both sides. This did not start in September, or 1948. It's as old as man. 2. Every anti racist, peace pining person should acknowledge what Israel is doing is horrific. Why don't you look at what Saudi has done to Yemen and how much uproar you showed for this? How many marches you attended? What does your selective morality about what the Jews do tell you? What I hate about the viewership of all these folk, is the strength and interest in sharing their opinion with almost not conceptual understanding of what living in this part of the world means. Yes, Israel is more powerful, but both sides lives with people that hate them. The govt of Hamas which IS LARGELY supported by Palestinians publically regularly announcing the desire for death of all Israelis. Do you understand what happens and why each side doesn't see the other as human? The ONLY solution comes from the people. The people of Palestine and Israel say enough is enough. Bebe is as bad as Putin and Hamas is as bad as ISIS (with less power). We want two moderate, peace seeking leaders who can focus on a 2state solution. Israel needs to stop the expansion, Palestine needs to stop the public announcement of its intention to kill Israel. The only way this is possible is with 2 more moderate, centralist leaders. What's sure as hell is the viewership of Joe have no interest in getting there - more so just judging the Jews as the left love to do with no understanding from there ivory towers 😄
