The bike is fun to ride. Out of all of us, Chris is the only one to crash.

Gotta love being around the farm. Got somewhere to dump and somewhere to get dirt. And access to equipment.👍

Man, that stump sure made a lot of grindings! Nice work, Bert 👍🏻👍🏻

Yeah it fluff's up as you grind the stump

The stump was 48'' in diameter. Wish I would have been home when neighbor ground stump to get some video.

You have to love those! Stump grinders I have two large stumps I can't dig out because I know the roots are around the water lines and electric lines grinding the stump will work for me. Kenny from Western North Carolina😅

I always have mine ground off just below the ground so I dont hit them when I mow.

Good morning Bert. I would love to see a video of your skid steer log splitter versus noodling on the biggest logs you can find. I’m a big fan of the skid steer log splitter.

Mabey sometime I'll do that.

That’s lot shavings from one tree. Nice job not tearing up yard with skid loader. Have a great evening.

Great vid Bert. A couple questions: 1. Did you consider using the basswood residue as part of a compost for your garden (obviously it would be for next year at the earliest), or was it not worth the time/energy? 2. I would have used Chris' big trailer to haul the residue considering how much skid steers' drink fuel. 3. And lastly, keep making the vids ... they are very enjoyable. Take care and have a great day. PS, tell Gavin he really won't die if he only eats 3 meals a day. LOL. 😃
@BertsCustomCutsАй бұрын
Thought about using the trailer but decided just to run back and forth.

Poeple Poeple if the tree roots showing really out of the ground its not good for the tree like bert did put some dirt over them it drys them makes the tree weak in then ground way to go there bert long live the trees
@allanulen3809Ай бұрын
Next time you're digging dirt from the pile, try pulling some down first, that way you're not trying to pick up the whole pile, just my thought.
@BertsCustomCutsАй бұрын
That bucket is a little big for dirt. If I was going to do a lot of dirt work, I would have gone to the main farm and got the dirt bucket.

I cringe when ever I see soil dumped around tree bases, I would give that tree 3 years. Tree root have to breath, and yes it just looks like loamy sandy soil.
@iffykidmn8170Ай бұрын
Why do roots grow underground rather than above ground? Tree base is another subject.
@BertsCustomCutsАй бұрын
It's not up against the base of the tree. Just filled in lower spots around the area so the mower doesn't catch roots.
