I've been there a few times in my youth , shame to see it lost to time , all thos lovely plants, I hope someone takes them all and gives them a new lease of life or takes over the greenhouses , i hope they got a new spot for the insects or at least gave them to the zoo

Sad to say looks like the plants were neglected in a recent film. There does appear to be still some greenery. These plants could have all been saved. But some might be saveable yet.

I used to live very close to butterfly world and visited regularly. Its such a shame that the place closed down...not enough visitors, or money going in perhaps? Thank you for exploring this place Alec...its brought back some lovely memories

Gorgeous photos there, what a beautiful place. I’d love to sit and meditate, minus the noisy alarm lol. Happy Halloween 🎃

I hope someone sees this as an opportunity and does something with the place. Whatever it may be. When you see it's former glory. Oh No, dead animals and fish. So, not all were removed. Sad to see. And now most of the plants are dead. No people and no money for their upkeep. Can the place not be sold? Are there legal wrangling going on in the background? Maybe like other cities rental for business is too high?

I don't understand why there are still animals left to their own devices (not to mention butterflies and other insects) ... It's sad for them.
The fear factor when an alarm goes off, time to get the eff out of there 😂. The stick insects are fascinating to me. I know Alec, it’s been awhile since I commented on your videos but you never reply 😢. Hope you’re doing well. Happy Holidays to you and yours 🎄 🎅 from, Chrissy in Florida 😊
