The Sargasso Sea is one of the most important marine ecosystems on the planet - and it needs protecting. This place is vital for whales, turtles and sharks - and nursery and feeding ground for many more marine species.
That’s why we’ve brought Dan from Bastille to the Bermuda Triangle, in the Sargasso Sea, to help raise awareness of this incredible habitat and call for its protection.

Agreed. We need 60 countries around the world to make this treaty law… so anyone reading this - write to your representatives and ask them to make it happen! It’s been agreed upon, so just needs to go through local parliaments

This song reminds of someone who has been sad and now sees some hope. As a music therapist I could share this song as something that could help folks identify their feelings. Very poetic!

Based off the description of the upcoming Ampersand album, I think this song might be about Van Gogh so your comment would be spot on in that case (Almond Blossoms have a blue background and were painted when Van Gogh had a little more hope)

Beautiful shooting, especially the beginning (0:14) and the ending (3:52) - drone shooting? The cinematography is beautiful, the natural light and Sargasso sea made a great combination. Stunning! The music is very hopeful. Great initiative, partnership of Bastille and Greenpeace - the message is very important and vital for everyone 😊

This is so beautiful!!!! Gosh intuitions amazing. I never imagined meeting Dan in 2023 and then watching these videos of him on the sea!! Sharing and listening 🕯️🎶 Also this song is SO relatable for me for the past 2 years for so many reasons. I told my therapists a few months ago I think I need to accept my baseline is sadness. I wrote the song about the artist Edvard Munch who was a fascinating guy. He suffered from depression throughout his life and spoke really eloquently about how difficult it was, but also how much he owed to it for the art he was able to create.

The food on the boat was great. The crew on board’s made up of people from 17 different countries. The chef was Ukrainian, and his food was delicious. Everyone on board helps out with clearing and cleaning up the kitchen and the whole boat every day (including me)

I was lucky with sea sickness and only felt a bit rough on one of the choppiest mornings. When we recorded the song the boat was swaying a bit, but it was pretty gentle so only added to the atmosphere.
