Hate when icee interrupts dancers by getting in their space. It's one thing to vibe to the beat on the side but to constantly get in their space is ridiculous. Multiple battles in a row he's done this

Batalla caught my attention last year on the very same stage and I became a fan. He has improved drastically since then and he really deserved the dub. Great performance by ICEE as well

11:33 Batalla's face, body language, and the fact that he's pointing to the other side of the stage, sayingto Icee "get out of my space" should be something the judges need to talk to Icee about. It ruins the vibe, encroaches on the other opponents space, and according to the comments I've see on more than one video, no-one likes it. If this were an exhibition, that would be a different story, but this is a competition.

I think the music in the final must be more groovy than what we hearing here. The final deserves better music!

Icee should have won tbh, but I didn't like his behaviour especially in the last round. If you have won this competition as often as him you don't try to steal your opponent's show like that...sit your ass down or stand in your line, be respectful. So yeah, I'm actually happy with the result.

In this respect, this is a really good design to make all the people feel “included “ in the battle . There are so many types of judging ways in dance battles. If you don’t like the rule of Summer Dance forever, you can attend other dance battle which has acceptable rules and judges for you . But it’s not reasonable to ask This event to change it’s rule. Because all kinds of rules have their bias. Dancers and judges know each other.Some of them are friends, some of them are not. Even you cancel the original rule of this event, the above setting of dancers’ relationships also lead to bias, which may cause much variation than”let the crowd choose”.

Biggest lessons I learned from watching many different battles: 1) Don't let dancers be touchy feely, dancing with each other and ish. It's an fn dance BATTLE 2) Pick better music. This has been a huge thorn for viewers. Never ever lower the energy. 3) Hosts should be quiet. Don't have to hype the crowd. That's the music's job. 4) Don't let spectators sit. Low energy. Stand up around the dance floor/stage. Each battle is only 3-5 minutes. 5) Let the crowd choose the winner. I don't like judges. Crowd knows what they like when they see it.

Probably the best final so far. Batalla's improvement is really powerful,but i still consider Icee on another level, he's poetry in dynamic, should have won this one too.

This is just my personal take, but many of us who are here in the comment section haven't been there - therefore we'll never truly what it feels like to be in the moment. In any competition, there's always an aspect of the rules that are biased for the sake of making things challenging, no disrespect to SDF (because they have every right to do so, and they're giving the community a standard to look up to). Problem here is that many are letting the politics get to them, the fact that Icee is in many competition finals, the judge battles, the crowd choosing. Like I said, many of us weren't even there, so for the most part, youtube comments that decide who wins and who loses are just going to be a waste of time. This whole "youtube" generation and "comment section judges" and "fanboy culture" is gonna ruin the foundation of the culture THAT WE ALL MAKE UP TOGETHER. Whatever happens in this battle is between Icee and Batalla only, and both are amazing dancers who are perfecting their art. Learn from them, don't get toxic. Respect the OG's and the ones who set the bar. If you didn't do these things, you will have the same effect that MUMBLE RAP has on HIP HOP. If competitions weren't challenging, then we would have no motivation to train harder and become better dancers in the end. Rep hard, rep well, and rep ONLY for yourself. Peace!

The crowd really shouldn't be allowed to judge imo (if you disagree that's fine, but hear me out). Last year, everyone was complaining about how Batalla should've won against Icee. It's just ignorant to think some form of psychological bias wasn't present among the crowd in favor of Batalla. The moment the crowd got to choose, Icee was pretty much doomed to lose. I just think that's sad; imagine pouring your heart out on the floor, only to have a crowd that was never gonna make you win from the start (well, some at least).

Still at the top of the game, and this is the best I've seen of him. Ice doesn't crack, who knew? Batalla got a lot better and his style is definitely interesting. His raw moments are always so insane.
