Never watched the show. Don't even know who he is. I only know the main DC characters. but 1000% agree In fact I went out of my way to find a video like this and the only reason I even looked up this video is to look at 14:07 becuase I saw it in a clip of a Flash movie review and I NEEDED to know if it was real or not. the first thing I thought of, was no way this is real, it must be a power rangers parody right? I still do not know if this is real or not.....

@@RaphaeltheRonin How? Godspeed was a rip off of every other villain. He killed barts mentor (jay) and wanted to destroy him ripping off thawne. He doesnt have a connection to the speedforce and needs the velocity drug to be fast while desiring real speed like zoom. And the whole god of speed thing and holding himself up as this big villain who cant be stopped while also being from the future much like savitar. Godspeed was so unoriginal and all his dialogue was campy power ranger esc lines. So what makes him any better? Nothing

I just realized that while the other main villains appeared mainly at night, Godspeed appeared mainly during the day which kinda ruins him because he looks way less threatening than he could've.

Godspeed was a very fun Villain and one of My Personal Favorite Villains on The Flash. Godspeed is basically Reverse Flash, Zoom and Savitar combined into one. (Reverse Flash) The Mastermind of The Godspeed clones and The Godspeed War. (Zoom) Godspeed had Zoom’s obsession with The Velocity Formula and found a to use it without it killing himself in the process. (Savitar) Godspeed has Savitar God Complex just like Savitar he thought he was The God of Speed.

Sounds more like a power rangers villian. He also sounds more like a pale imitation of the speedsters you just mentioned. He was not that calculating at all. He was much more of a strung up Velocity9 junkie compared to Zoom and he didn't even sound nor act like a God. Savitar did.

Godspeed was actually presented pretty well in the show, but I felt like it could’ve been a whole lot better. That lightning bolt/lightsaber fight with Thawne completely turned me off tho🤦🏾‍♂️

Well, they have super speed not super strength besides they need to show how fast they are for the audience to know they are speedsters after all. Also if you want to see hand-to-hand combat arrow is the best option.

They depicted both Zoom and Reverse Flash well in this show; to some degree, Savitar. However, Godspeed and Red Death are nowhere near the ones that they have in the comic books. I just like this Godspeed because he is so fast that he fights versions of himself. Lololololol 😆 😆 😂😂😂!

What is with villains being literal children in adult bodies? "Kid flash is wreckless with his natural gift so I'm gonna throw a tantrum about it until I get natural speed force". Whatever happened to the days of good old villains like Maleficent, The Joker, the guy that sings Toxic Love from that one animated movie, or the villains that will bring peace through war? I kiss the days when Villains where genuinely evil. These days too many villains feel like adults throwing a tantrum. I see far too much of that in face to face interactions. I want to see some true villainy, some true moral struggles to figure out if the villain is a good guy turned bad or is just a genuinely bad guy. I feel that in today's society where we see plenty of adults throwing tantrums, it's a nice breath of fresh air to be confronted with a legitimate moral quandary. Finding out at the end of this that Godspeed is just throwing a tantrum kind of killed the arc for me. It's full of exciting new abilities, but the "I deserve what they have more" is SO over played in real life. Its not exciting. It's not thrilling. Seeing it on TV just brings up feelings of dealing with those adult children ourselves. We watch TV to escape our shitty lives, not to live a second shitty life through the characters experiencing what we already experience. Give us something EXCITING, not something real.
