Amateur video work and amateur hobby machinist. Videos of me working on various projects in the workshop and around the home. Work using my Vevor MX400 Mini Lathe and Precision Matthews PM-25MV Benchtop Milling Machine.

I thought about that too. These are in no way pretty :-) I could have made a small jig of sorts...maybe a good idea in keeping with the batch run idea but I didn't want to go that far. If you find a simple solution please share.

Having fun is what it is all about. And getting better all the time. Like to see a pm 1022. It's a great set. With the pm25.I love mine.

Clean with 91 alcohol. Then use nail polish. All most dry and use nail polish remover lightey with cotton ball or q tips. I do it on gun slide works great.

I will try that next time. I did start cleaning these with slcohol and that made a difference. Also that PM 1022 looks like a nice machine. Not sure if they make a small lathe that doesnt require gear changes for threading but that would be something I would investigate when I am in the market for an upgrade.

@deezworkshop maybe look at the clough42 electronic leadscrew? Bit of a project but that would give you complete freedom for threads and patterns without change gears
