I'd hate to say it but I think this IS the last episode for living Norma. I mean, it was the perfect time to do it: it was unexpected as Norman and Norma were sharing a conversation minutes before that was about moving and this song is a tribute to that of season 2 when they[Norma and Norman] were singing this song that sounded more similar to the original Sandman but this version is more depressing and dreary, I feel like at least 60% of people watching shared the same emotions as Romero. We all know that Norman kills his mother in the book and movie so we're all expecting it, but somehow it still is shocking to see and evoked more emotion than any other scenes in all 4 seasons. Hate to see Norma go, she really is the reason I continued to watch this show, she was just so good; the best actress on the screen in my opinion

Norma... she was my favourite character, and her life was so sad :( she didn't deserved that life

The scene where this song kicks in... it's just perfect. The natural coldness of bates when he is about to kill his mother and himself... he didn't do it out of spite. or anger. but out of love. For him death was a peaceful way to solve everything. The way Freddie Highmore moves, the tempo of the song, the ambience.. all just perfect to despict his complete alienation of a normal human being.. but without malice.
