ਲੁਟੇਰੇ ਨੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਗਰੋਥ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਲਛਮਣ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਤੋਂ 25 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਲੁੱਟ ਲਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਆਹਮੋ-ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਲੁੱਟ ਦੀ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੁਟੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
