Every detail is perfect and your instincts pay off, I love the accent wall and the shiplap boards you originally put up wouldn't have looked nearly as nice as the textured walls you did, that was a great call on taking them down, and at first I really liked them! I have to say, I'm sooo proud of your daughter, Vivian, for sewing the shower curtains, she did an AMAZING job on them.❤ I've been sewing since I was 12, self taught on patterns mind you, and I sewed so many of my and my daughter's dresses, not to mention curtains, chair covers (the piping) pillows, etc. I hope you tell Vivian what a wonderful job she did and she should be so proud. It's heart warming how your daughters/sisters/husband, all contribute to your home and I love seeing how involved your daughters are in your thrifting and decorating. I need that basket Sarah!!! Sarah, can't tell you how much I loved this video; especially the part of your precious daughter doing the sewing. Brought back memories of 50+ yrs. Ago when my sweet mother "made" me learn to sew, even though it made me s sssooo mad! Because of her persistence & love (& a belt), I am happy to say that I am the ONLY person I know around here now that can make anything, mend, quilt, etc. Wish I could tell Mama today how much that lesson has meant to me thru the years.
