Stark contrast between rich and poor...the divide seems to be growing. I hope no matter how you choose to live, you keep in mind the needs of our fellow brothers and sisters that make up the human race. Please try and live sustainably, we can all do our part, and still be comfortable. 😊

Thanks! It was actually always supposed to be worldwide from the start, but we just made videos initially to show examples of what others could make. Didn't expect our videos to become so popular, but are happy that we now have many people contributing videos each time we ask. It's such an awesome thing to see!

Kinda but not necessarily. The fancier ones(with the multiple shower faucets) are definitely the very upscale wealthy folks, and not common at all. You'd be hard pressed to find them in most rental housing. Also more likely the one's living in big cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, etc. The sitting down chamber pots are called Indian Commodes and the rest are called Western Commodes. WCs are increasingly becoming more common.

The first two Indian bathrooms appear to be from the upper middle class. I'm Indian myself, however I was born and raised in California. Over the times that my family and I have visited our home country and relatives, their bathrooms appear to be like the first two Indian bathrooms that were shown. The third bathroom that was in the video.. seems to be a bathroom belonging to most lower middle class families. I'm just providing a little bit of insight on it, but other than that.. great video!

Well, you can notice is a house in Antigua, so, is a colonial style house, that's why is so big (not necessarily a rich family, almost all colonial houses are like that). I'm from Guatemala too, and my bathroom is pretty small, tho, haha

We accept submissions from anyone, no matter how poor or rich they are. I do think that those that can speak English and have access to the Internet to watch videos, and a camera to record them, are statistically better off in the world. So by default, we're always going to get submissions from wealthier people in the world. In 2017 I'm thinking about launching a project to send cameras to people who can't normally afford them and get video from places we normally wouldn't see, shot by people who normally wouldn't shoot them.

The shower shown in Israel is typical to student apartments - particularly ones where the owner separates one apartment into several units, with each unit having a small make-shift bathroom for each person to use. Most apartments have a bath-shower situation (where the shower and bath are one unit) or a shower and a bath in one room and often the toiler is in a separate room next to the shower room. It is however very common for showers to have a shower curtain rather than a glass door or a sliding door, like in more modern bathrooms.

Over here in The Netherlands we also have our shower head attatched to the faucet. Maybe not in all bathrooms, but I guess most of them have this. It was interesting to see all the different kinds of bathrooms and I really like some bathrooms where you save a lot of water using the buckets. I like it, but I guess it would be hard to get used to it for me. Since I have had a big bathroom all my life with a shower, a bath (with faucet and showerhead), a sink, a toilet and cabinets. Thanks fir the video! (Sorry, I know it's an old video. I come across some old videos sometimes ☺️).

Until we made our toilet video, I never used any feature beyond the seat warming one in a Japanese toilet. Now I regularly use the features and don't know how I did without!

Just wondering Greg if you use the tub soaking that often since you are Canadian and not used to doing it? I think that I would do the soak thing very rarely, just as a novelty since I am not used to it. I would just stick to doing the daily showers instead. The bath even seems like too much of a bother to me now.

I use it EVERYDAY! The whole family does. Except sometimes in the summer, when it's so hot that I just take a cold shower to cool off. I love japanese baths, and try to go to the onsen / sento (public bath houses) once a week.

Life Where I'm From wow what is it like to go to public bath houses? I can't imagine going there so often. In most countries this is unimaginable.

I perked up when you said Temecula...that's actually pretty close to where I live! My bathroom is kind of like that guy's too. This is the third video I've seen Mae from Cambridge in and she is SOOO adorable, just have to say.
